Curchods In The Community: A Spotlight on Esher Tennis & Padel Club

Events

Esher Tennis & Padel Club has been at the heart of the local community for well over a century. Originally established as Esher Lawn Tennis Club in 1898, the club has grown and evolved over the years while remaining a much-loved destination for tennis and padel enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. With such a rich history, it continues to play an important role in bringing local people together through sport, competition and social events.

At Curchods, we are proud to have supported Esher Tennis & Padel Club since 2019. As a local business with deep roots in the community, we value the opportunity to work alongside organisations that make a positive impact on the area. Our partnership extends beyond sponsorship, and we are pleased to offer a referral scheme that benefits both club members and the club itself. Whenever a club member chooses to sell their home with Curchods, we donate £1,000 directly to the club, helping to support its continued development and success.

As part of our ongoing relationship with the club, we also sponsor the popular Player of the Quarter award, recognising members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, achievement or sportsmanship.

We are particularly excited to be supporting the club’s inaugural 1 Point Slam event on Saturday 13th June.

This brand-new tournament promises to deliver plenty of excitement, drama and entertainment, with a unique format that sets it apart from traditional competitions. In a true test of skill, nerve and composure, every match from the opening round through to the final will be decided by a single point. With no second chances, every shot counts, making for a thrilling day of action for both players and spectators alike.

The 1 Point Slam is set to be a fantastic addition to the club’s calendar and a great opportunity for members to enjoy some friendly competition in a fun and engaging format. To find out more about the event and how to get involved,
