As the year draws to a close, we have taken the opportunity to reflect on the achievements and changes at Curchods in 2023. It has been a year that has seen new office openings, the introduction of new services, multiple award wins and continued support of our local community. And, of course, hundreds of happy homeowners across Surrey and South West London. Below we have broken down some of our highlights and milestones from the year.
Curchods Bookham Office Opened
In January 2023, we added another office to our ever-growing branch network, when John Wadsworth estate agents joined the Curchods family. 24 offices became 25 and it was a delight to open our doors to the Bookham village. Covering Great Bookham, Little Bookham, Fetcham, KT23 and the surrounding villages.
Launched Curchods Removals Service
At Curchods, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to ensure that you have a positive moving experience, from your first interaction through to completion. Our newest service continued that commitment, beyond the support traditionally offered by estate agents. We partnered with a premium storage specialist and Removals company to bring you an efficient and reliable removals service.
Created a dedicated Downsizing Department
We crafted a specialist personal downsizing service. Recognising a shift in the property market that has seen more downsizers come to the market, our new department offered a bespoke service that provided more support to guide downsizers through all the emotional and practical hurdles of downsizing.
2023 was our most decorated year yet!
We were fortunate enough to be recognised by both the British Property Awards and United Kingdom Property Awards for customer service and marketing, with a whopping 14 awards added to our cabinet.
The accolades included 7 local British Property Awards Gold Awards for customer service, 2 regional British Property Awards, United Kingdom Property Awards for Best Estate Agency Marketing in Surrey and the United Kingdom, Real Estate Agent in Surrey and United Kingdom and finally an award for Best Estate Agency Website.

We saw greater engagement on social media
Some of the lovely homes listed with Curchods have proven a hit on social media this year, and our most loved properties across our social channels are no surprise. This stunning, new build property in Hook Heath, Woking took the top spot on our Curchods Prime account with over 800 likes.
Our new big red removals vans certainly grabbed some attention… and not just driving through the street of Surrey and South West London. The suspense created by launching our removals service saw this post on Instagram liked by hundreds and reach thousands of home owners in the county.
We’ve supported over 25 schools, clubs, fetes and fairs in our community this year
We’re no stranger to supporting local schools, sports clubs and events in our local community. From local village fetes, to school fayres and festivities, it’s been a great year supporting the events that matter to our community alongside the bonus of helping to raise money and donations for these great causes along the way!
