Cavendish Road is a very quiet cul-de-sac with a private feel which sits in a hugely convenient location close to the town centre. The centre of Woking with its fantastic mainline railway station and some excellent schools are all within walking distance. The town itself has recently been through a considerable transformation, taking on a far more modern and contemporary feel. The most recent addition of which is the Victoria Square that opened last year and not only took a huge stride in the towns appearance but also brought a new flagship M&S store. Well known bars and restaurants line Commercial Way and in the Peacocks Shopping Centre there is an excellent theatre which enjoys the big acts from the West end as well as a recently modernised multi screen cinema. Woking is probably most famous for its fantastic railway station that offers a direct line service to Waterloo which makes it such an ideal destination for commuters. There are very frequent trains throughout the day that reach London in about 24 minutes plus there is also a very efficient coach service from there to Heathrow.
