Travelling the world to create Internationally acclaimed, award-winning interiors, if it’s the wow factor you want in your home, consider Design by Uber your new, must-have discovery for 2021.
Synonymous with the rich and famous, Design by Uber epitomises glamour, sophistication, beauty and technology, combining all of these elements into every one of its bespoke projects. We met with interior design guru and MD of Design By Uber, Simon Evans, to discuss what the last 10 years has been like as an International award-winning interior designer and find out what his favourite projects to date have been.
It all began when Simon was promoting furniture in the national newspapers. Whilst travelling the world to source new and exciting products, he recognised that there was so much more to the interiors world than was being brought to the UK High Street.
Over the last 10 years, the company has grown to become a world-class interior design agency, winning multiple awards and garnering industry recognition thanks to its highly skilled team of interior designers, architects and quantity surveyors.

When it comes to discussing favourite projects, the ‘Man Cave’ stands out above the rest “simply because of the overwhelming transformation that we provided and the reaction that it receives each and every time I show someone”, Simon recalls as he describes the requirement of the client.
The Man Cave was to be incorporated into a modern and stylish home to cater for both family living and socialising with friends. Whilst design schemes were to be practical and informal, every element was to be underpinned with a sub-text of glamour.
Every finish throughout the house had to be of the highest standard with an additional key element of the brief being to create leisure and entertainment facilities that bestow an exemplary sensory experience.
The finished home is nothing short of a masterpiece. Not only does every inch of the living space evoke a feeling of grandeur and luxury, but the refurbishment also included what was described as the ‘ultimate man cave’ by the Financial Times in their How To Spend It Magazine.
With its £50,000 glass enclosed, rotating circular podium, comfortably displaying three supercars, a bar and movie area, pool room and temperature-controlled wine cellar, this showpiece further established the company’s International reputation for its unrivalled use of next generation technology.
A fellow recipient of the prestigious International Property Awards for not one, but three Interior Design awards, the alignment of Design by Uber with Curchods Prime could not be more fitting – especially if you want to add an award-winning architectural twist to your home or a spectacular underground lair to rival Tony Stark!
Are there enough superlatives to describe the homes which Design by Uber have created? We’re not sure there are, but one thing we are certain of, is that they have an undeniable ability to design homes that exceed client expectations with the lifestyle they deliver.
