The International Property Awards are the most prestigious property industry awards in the world and this year Curchods are delighted to announce that we won two UK awards:
- Best UK Property Marketing (South East)
- Best UK Estate Agency Website
Now in its 27th year, the International Property Awards are held in different regions around the world, with regional winners going on to compete on a national and then International level.
The United Kingdom Property Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts. Judging focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel is chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Waverley, all of whom are members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
Internationally, the awards cover over 45 different residential and commercial categories. Regional heats are staged for Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA, UK and Asia Pacific.
The top winners in each region will automatically be entered into the overall International awards, culminating in announcements of the International and World’s Best winners at the end of the process, so we’re incredibly excited to find out what the next stage of the contest brings.
What do these awards mean for our clients?

These awards underline the fact that the presentation and online presence we’ve created to promote our clients’ properties is head and shoulders above our local competitors and held in high esteem with the very best estate agencies in the UK.
Winning these awards is fantastic news and a great way to sign off what has been a very unique year for us all. It goes to show that despite all the restrictions and challenges presented to us over the last 12 months, the resilience and creativity we’ve demonstrated on behalf of our clients has paid dividends.
The tireless effort and dedication shown by all our colleagues has turned 2020 into one of the most successful in the company’s history.
This is the second year in a row that Curchods have been successful at the International Property Awards, but as with many events due to be held this year, sadly the award ceremony could not go ahead due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, that doesn’t mean the proud smiles are any less, so below is a picture of our marketing team, Graeme Wadhams and Rachel Sumner, collecting their 2019 award.
