Chris Pain
Head of Mortgage Advice | FPC 123, CeMAP

My whole working life has revolved around the residential property market having started as a sales negotiator aged 18 within the estate agency sector, progressing to a managerial role within 5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time selling property but the draw of moving over to the financial services arena proved too strong and allowed me to take advantage of my interest and natural aptitude for numbers.

I spent 6 years working for a bank in residential and commercial lending before joining Curchods Mortgage Services as an advisor in 1994. I became Head of Mortgage Advice in 2009 and have taken immense pride in seeing the company grow from 4 advisers to its current level of qualified mortgage/protection consultants and a fantastic admin team that continues to receive many 5-star reviews for the excellent service they provide.

My time is spent running the business, advising clients, some of whom I’ve dealt with for nearly 30 years years and also advising high net-worth clients within our prime brand. When I’m not working, chances are you’ll find me swinging a golf club.

John Morgan
Sales Manager

Having started in Estate Agency back in 1998, I moved across to mortgages services in 2002 and have not looked back! Having always worked alongside Estate Agents I have a vast range of knowledge and experience in the housing market, which I use to my advantage in ensuring that our clients’ experience in dealing with Curchods Mortgage Services is a smooth and efficient process.

Assisting in driving the business forward whilst keeping the client at the centre of what we do is an exciting and challenging role which provides me with great satisfaction.

Mike Dean
Senior Mortgage Advisor | FPC 2,3. CeMAP

I have been in the Financial Services industry for over 23 years. Having started within Banking I then moved into management in Building Societies before I became a mortgage broker in 2004 which I thoroughly enjoy. I have not looked back since and am passionate about my work, providing great service to help my clients and advising them on their mortgage and protection requirements.

Many of my clients have used me for a number of years and also refer friends and family for me to help too which is a great testament to the advice and service I provide.

Currently living in Walton-on-Thames and having worked within the estate agency business since 2001 giving both mortgage and protection advice, I feel that I am very well placed to ensure that my clients not only get the best possible service throughout the sales process but become a client for life.

Since joining Curchods Mortgage Services, the dedicated admin team has afforded me more time to be in the strongest ever position to meet the needs of my clients. I am delighted to say that after many years in this sector, I still enjoy continuous referrals and recommendations which I believe to be the ultimate sign of a job well done!

Simon Labrow
Senior Mortgage Advisor | FPC, CeMAP

I have been advising on mortgages since 1985 when I started my career in financial services with Legal & General. Mortgages have become far more complicated to arrange in recent years so many of my clients really appreciate my specialist advice using my considerable experience.

I have an excellent knowledge of tax and assist clients to find the most efficient way to complete their property transaction.

Chris Gomez
Senior Mortgage Advisor | CeMAP

I have been working in the property industry now for over 5 years and began my career as a negotiator based in Ewell. Having progressed through to the position of Assistant Manager, my experience in Estate Agency has given me a vast knowledge of the house buying process which I use to help my clients dealing with offers, understanding the legal process and the mortgage journey itself.

After successfully passing my CeMAP examinations earlier this year, I decided to make the switch to mortgage services and joined the team here at Curchods Mortgage Services. I felt the combination of the experience and reputation of the company paired with the support of a strong administration team were the perfect building blocks to progress my chosen career.

Roger Larner
Senior Mortgage Advisor | FPC & CeMAP

I started my career in banking in 1990 before moving into financial planning in 1997 where I soon specialised in mortgage and protection advice, driven by my own experience of buying my first property at that time and the challenges that involved. With the extensive knowledge and capability I have gained, I’m most proud of the reputation I have for developing and retaining strong relationships with my clients.

Now, with over 30 years of experience in the wider financial services industry seeing an incredible amount of change that’s ongoing, I am delighted to have joined Curchods Mortgage Services who share the same passion and commitment in helping clients fulfil their goals and ambitions.
