A short drive will take you into the villages of Knaphill and Chobham, the latter with an array of interesting pubs and restaurants. Woking town centre is within easy reach of the house and has been the subject of enormous investment in recent years giving it a busy and contemporary feel with restaurants, bars and cafes as well as the New Victoria theatre and multi screen cinema. For the commuter, Woking has what is widely regarded as one of the best stations in the south east and runs a very fast and frequent service into Waterloo and also has a very efficient coach service to Heathrow airport. Slightly closer to the house, there is also the option of commuting from Brookwood station. A short drive will also take you into Guildford with its cobbled high street and period buildings that house a wide variety of shops. The M3 is close at hand which connects with the M25 for access to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
