Rose Cottages were originally constructed in the 1840s as local workers cottages, probably to the Enton Hall Estate. In more recent years No. 8 has been extended to the rear to create a wonderful large country style kitchen/dining room.
The front door opens into a small entrance lobby with space for coats and shoes, which in turn opens into the front aspect sitting room with wooden flooring and feature log burner. The wooden flooring continues through into the family room, which also has an understairs storage cupboard. The kitchen/dining room has a large roof lantern allowing in plenty of natural light, and offers an extensive range of base and eye level units, wooden worktops, Belfast sink, space for fridge/freezer, space for cooker, space and plumbing for washing machine, space for a dining table and chairs, stable door leading out to the rear garden and staircase leading to the first floor.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one double and one large single; both with wooden flooring, together with the fully tiled family bathroom comprising a bath with shower over, wc and wash hand basin. On the first floor landing there is access to the boarded and part insulated loft space.
Garden and Exterior
To the front, there is a parking space for one car, together with a front garden which is mainly laid to lawn with a pathway leading to the front door. The fence enclosed rear garden benefits from a southerly aspect, with an area of patio accessed via the kitchen/dining room, which then leads up to an area of lawn, with raised flower beds and borders, and a garden shed at the end of the garden.
