Just along the road from the house there is a Sainsbury's superstore along with a large Homebase both of which are within a short walk of the house while an equally easy 5 minute walk away is Knaphill village with its collection of local shops and restaurants. For those times when you need something more comprehensive the centre of Woking is within easy reach and is currently undergoing a very significant programme of regeneration which is creating a far more interesting and contemporary town. Woking has a theatre, multi screen cinema and what is widely regarded as one of the best commuting rail stations that can be found in the south east running a service into Waterloo in approximately 24 minutes. Brookwood station is also within 20 minutes walk of the house and within the wider area there are excellent schools and a collection of very highly regarded golf clubs.
